N3BB 2010 TQP Route
As usual, this will be a single day single-op/driver low budget affair,
all CW, poorly organized with paper logging and all exchanges sent by
paddle. I'll pull off when entering a new county to work the initial
rush off the roadway, and then will drive and operate after the contact
rate subsides to manageable levels until the next county. Operation in
every county will be on 40 and 20 meters. My mobile setup is a simple
100W FT857D with the Yaesu ATAS-120A screwdriver antenna located on the
rear trunk deck of a sedan. The operator, a well known lid in these
state QSO mobile affairs, will do the best he can.
It should be noted
that NO5W offered to help automate this and get a ThinkPad set up for
logging and keying, but some medical disruptions on the part of N3BB
prevented this kind offer to materialize.
Hope to work you in the 2010 Texas QSO Party.
