NO5W 2010 MSQP Route
I'm planning to be
active this year in the Mississippi QSO Party covering about
sixteen counties in southern Mississippi. Starting out in
Hammond, LA we'll travel east on I-12/I-10 and hope to enter Hancock
county at the starting bell. From there we'll continue east on I-10 to
pick up the other two Gulf Coast counties. Turning north we'll wind our
way back west and south of Hattiesburg, over to McComb and as far west
as the Adams county line. After picking up Jefferson and Adams with
short detours out of Franklin we head south to Wilkinson and then back
east for another swing through Amite and Pike and then its back to
Hammond for the evening. My driver has come out of semi-retirement for
this one and if she says she's had enougn when we reach McComb we may
have to forgo Adams, Jefferson, and Wilkinson but should be able to
include Amite, Lincoln, and Franklin since they are very accessible
from McComb.
As in the past it will be an all CW effort with most of our activity on
20m and 40m. We do plan to have 15m capability and plan to hit it
harder than we have done in the past since things have been picking up
lately on 15m. We will also have 80m capability but probably will
not use it until the final 2-3 counties.
Hope to see you in
our 2010 Mississippi QSO Party log.
73,
Chuck/NO5W
