NO5W 2008 TQP Route
This year we're trying
something we haven't tried before. In year's passed we've always done a
single big loop starting and ending at home with a Saturday
night stay on the road. This year we'll do a double loop spending
Saturday
night at home. The route is designed to pick up several
of the East
Texas counties that were inactive in 2007: San
Jacinto, Madison, and Newton. So it'll be north and east of
Houston on Saturday. Then
we make a smaller loop west and northwest of Houston on Sunday. This is
a revision of the earlier route in order to add some counties in the
east while removing some duplicates with other stations.
We'll be operating in the CW Only category primarily on 20/40
but will also try some 80M late Saturday
evening and will have 15M capability which we will try from time to
time and on request. Hope to work you in the
2008 Texas QSO Party.
Look for me high or low in the bands to avoid RTTY QRM (e.g. 7024, 7124, etc)
