NO5W 2009 TQP Route
This year I've recruited
Larry K5OT and Gary W5ZL to do a mobile multi-op with a setup similar
to the one that W5ZL and KU5B and I have used the last two years in the
OK QP. We'll be mixed mode and will cover forty-one different counties
in the
central and western part of the state. We'll be stopping for the night
in Post, TX, Garza county and on Sunday driving to the Kent-Stonewall
crossing prior to the start. So if you're looking for Garza county be
sure to work us on Saturday near the close.
We'll be operating primarily on 20/40
but will also try some 80m on Saturday
evening and will have 15, 10, 2 meter and 440 capability which
we will try from time to
time and on request. We may also have aprs capability if we can get
that going -- more on that later. On 40m in particular look for us high
or low in
the bands to avoid RTTY QRM.
We're looking forward to the trip and hope to put you in the
log early and often,
